What was my word of choice ? I chose to use the word ASSET from the Cyber-security Fundamentals Glossary.
Before we get into the details, let me tell you how I created this BEAUTIFUL collage of images!
I created the collage using a site called BeFunky. BeFunky is a site for image editing, collage creating and much much more. If you are looking for a site that is free, easy to navigate, quick to learn, user friendly, and extremely professional, then you better bet that BeFunky is the software of your dreams! I simply chose to make a collage, used the BeFunky platform to search for free built in stock images about the word, “asset”. and made a few personal changes to customize it to exactly what I wanted, no questions asked!

Now, are you interested know what an asset is ? If so here you go! An asset is simply anything someone owns that has some worth of currency. This can be a broad array of things such as money in a savings account, bank CD, it can also be land, watches, shoes, or a smartphone, and every single thing in between!
Side note : To find your net worth just subtract your liabilities from your assets, and there ya go, its just that easy! For the definition of liability check out the link below.

How does my image relate to the word is probably what your thinking, am I right? If so, please let me explain! In my image I have the following nine things : Cash, property, vehicles, mansions, skyscrapers, yachts, bitcoin, camera equipment, and luxury items. These are all examples of assets, again, meaning these are things people can potentially own.
Can this image even be applied in the real world ? Of course, in fact, more than I’m sure you could ever imagine! It can be used in a multitude of ways here are a couple. As said before, it can be used as one of the factors to calculate a celebrities, or anyone’s net worth. In addition for a less conventional way, the police department may need to track all of your purchase records and assets to determine what was stolen at the scene of your crime, possibly taking place at your home. For a reason like this, it is extremely beneficial to track your assets, and even your liabilities for that matter.
If you cannot find ways this words relates or has a personal connection to you, I’ll share a couple ways it has played a role in my life. First, I have had to calculate my net worth for a Personal Finance class I took during high school. Finally, me and my father have had to track our assets and report to the police. Now, you can most likely see why I used that example previously in the blog.
